MFS Investment Management New London HQ
MFS, a 90-year-old global asset manager with investment offices across the world, needed a solution in the UK that coupled contemporary style with environmentally sustainable materials. Structure Tone was approached as their go-to construction partner.
Following a very successful relationship with our Boston office, MFS was introduced to the Structure Tone London project team. From the very outset, we worked with MFS to ensure the smooth delivery of product not only in line with budget, but also consistent with our global locations.
To reduce MFS’s financial risk, Structure Tone entered into an agreement with the landlord to undertake a complete MEPS validation and an architectural condition survey, and also to rectify any issues that could potentially cause us programme delays.
Structure Tone installed a new IT infrastructure, security system, teleprescence conference rooms, meeting rooms, offices, tea-points, café, communication and traders rooms. We were also responsible for high-end joinery installation, glassed lift lobby doors along with a reception desk complete with a stone clad front.
The complexity of the finishes and their coordination required a high quantity of natural stone finishes. To ensure the required look and feel was correct, Structure Tone coordinated the templating and the cutting of the stone in Italy at the source to make sure there were no issues on site.
