Perrigo Dublin
The Sharp Building was chosen by Perrigo as their new base of operations in Dublin. The building’s base build works were completed in June, with fit-out commencing in September. The building consists of seven levels with a basement carpark included, fit-out works were undertaken from ground to fifth floor. Ground to fourth floor were presented as grey box whilst the fifth floor had received CAT A fit-out by the base build contractor. All elements were removed from this level with mechanical items retained and reinstated to suit the new layout.
Ground Floor
The ground floor area is a very bright open space, the large reception area is complemented by feature lighting designed and installed by artist Alva Gallagher. Other spaces within the ground floor are a gym, meeting rooms, and a business lounge.
First & Second Floor
The first and second floors have been fitted out to CAT A as both levels are to be sublet. All infrastructure and finishes were completed in line with the look and feel of Perrigo spaces. The furniture is to be supplied and installed by tenants.
Third & Fourth Floor
Both levels are mirrored and the meeting spaces, offices, and open plan are aligned across each level. A very detailed joinery install comprised of a large tea station, collaboration spaces, and bespoke storage items that are visible from any viewpoint add to the very spacious feel.
Fifth Floor
The fifth floor is home to a large canteen area overlooking Dublin’s historic Boland’s Mill, which has been designed to incorporate a town hall space. This has been achieved by integrating AV within feature joinery. Other elements of the space include large meeting spaces, open plan workstations, and cellular offices.
Highlights Include:
• Partnering with the Client and the Design Team (CBRE, Perkins and Will, Coady Architects and Ethos Engineering) to deliver Perrigo’s new prestige European Headquarters Building.
• Detailed finishes packages including acoustics, floor coverings, graphics and joinery.
• Extensive value engineering process on appointment of all packages, this process gave a greater understanding of the needs of the client and the elements of importance which were not to be compromised.
• The STL project team as a hole where a huge factor in realizing the client and design teams vision, a really positive team effort. My sincere thanks and appreciation to all involved.
