We are active participants in organizations and activities to improve the communities where we live and work.
March of Dimes
We are a long-standing participant in the March of Dimes Real Estate Award Reception, held annually at the United States Golf Association (USGA) Museum and Arnold Palmer Center. Six years ago, we developed and sponsored an adjunct event called the Pynes Putting Challenge. The winning team receives two tickets to the following year’s US Open, compliments of the USGA, and a proclamation signed by Arnold Palmer memorializing their win. Today, these combined events comprise the March of Dimes’ largest single-day fundraiser in New Jersey.
“The March of Dimes is so successful because of the wonderful volunteers and companies. Structure Tone has been on the March of Dimes Real Estate Reception and Pynes Putting Challenge since 2009. Erik’s idea to implement the Pynes Putting Challenge has netted over $100,000,” said Carol Roberts, Director of Special Events for March of Dimes.
United Way of Northern New Jersey
We have been a proud sponsor of the United Way’s annual Commercial Real Estate Network Legacy Luncheon for over 20 years. In addition, a member of our senior staff has participated as a committee member for the past seven years. We have enjoyed the opportunity for hands-on participation in several of their volunteer projects.
Make-A-Wish Foundation
Our Woodbridge staff enjoyed a beautiful day walking to raise money to help make wishes come true for children battling cancer. Friends and family of those closely affected by childhood cancer joined our staff at two events in Liberty State Park in Jersey City and on the boardwalk in Long Branch, NJ.
Have-A-Heart Food Drive
Our office staff raised $4,000 and collected over 300 pounds of non-perishable food items for Woodbridge Township. The Have-A-Heart Food Drive is an annual Valentine’s Day event that typically collects over $30,000 in donations and over 20,000 pounds of food. Donations from this drive are shared among 10 local food pantries in the area.
Special Olympics New Jersey
Executives of Structure Tone have been involved with the Higgins Memorial Golf Tournament since it’s inception 26 years ago, participating as committee members for the first 15 years, and twice as the Tournament Chair.
Hugs From Home
Each year, Structure Tone participates in filling over 30 tubes with everyday items that are sent to our service men and women to enjoy and remind them that people back home are thinking about them.
United Way Real Estate Luncheon
The UPS project team won this year’s United Way Impact Award. The award was presented at the annual United Way Real Estate Luncheon on May 20th, drawing over 500 attendees this year. The 200,000sf Technology Center, located at 10 Upper Pond Road in Parsippany, NJ, will accommodate over 1,000 employees and allow software developers, designers and technology professionals to collaborate and develop the innovative solutions that run UPS’s Global Network. Structure Tone New Jersey is the Construction Manager for both the base building and interior construction.
