In order to provide the level of service our clients require, we work with reputable, experienced firms that are committed to delivering quality and meeting project objectives. As a condition of working on projects for STO Building Group, the subcontractor must also review, accept, and abide by the applicable Supplier Code of ConductGo to https://stobuildinggroup.com/compliance/supplier-code/.

STO Building Group has partnered with COMPASS for our U.S. Subcontractor Prequalification Program. COMPASS is a secure, web-based application designed to allow subcontractors to efficiently satisfy prequalification requests from multiple GCs by completing a single prequalification form (COMPASS 1Form).

You will need to complete COMPASS 1Form along with STOBG Specific Supplemental Form within COMPASS. You will also be required to upload the following documents:

FAQs

Do I need to do anything if I am already prequalified with an STOBG company?
No, not until you come up for renewal, however if you are already in COMPASS, you can authorize us at any time prior to your renewal.
Is there a fee for using COMPASS?
COMPASS is a paid subscription-based service. If you’ve already registered and paid for COMPASS previously, no additional charges will apply.
I only work with one of the STOBG companies. Do I still need to prequalify through COMPASS?
Yes, all STOBG businesses are now using COMPASS except for Govan Brown and Structure Tone International (London and Dublin). This includes Abbott, Ajax, BCCI, Layton, LF Driscoll, Pavarini McGovern, Pavarini North East, RC Andersen, Structure Tone, and Structure Tone Southwest.
Which STO Building Group businesses does this apply to?
All of our builders except for Govan Brown and Structure Tone International (London and Dublin). This includes Abbott, Ajax, BCCI, Layton, LF Driscoll, Pavarini McGovern, Pavarini North East, RC Andersen, Structure Tone, and Structure Tone Southwest.
What if I already use COMPASS with other General Contractors?
You will need to authorize STOBG and complete an STOBG specific form. There are no additional costs.
