Brian Geller
Brian Geller is a Senior Sustainability Manager at The Durst Organization, where he plays an integral role in the development of new projects and in the renovation and operation of existing properties. Brian develops, oversees, and implements practices in support of The Durst Organization’s Sustainability Policies. Prior to joining The Durst Organization, Brian was Senior Vice President of Corporate Sustainability at Citigroup. Brian acted as team lead for sustainable cities and the built environment, which included co-authoring the report “New Perspectives on Climate Finance for Cities” with C40 and Siemens. Prior to joining Citigroup, Brian founded and served as the first Executive Director of The Seattle 2030 District, a public/private partnership to collectively meet the Architecture 2030 Challenge for Planning across Downtown Seattle. This model has spawned an entire network of 2030 Districts across more than 20 North American cities, with over 432 million square feet of commercial building space committed.
