STOBG Cares: Kicking Off a Stronger Partnership with Band of Builders
As football fever swept across the globe this summer, Structure Tone UK channeled the excitement into something far more meaningful than a final score. The company’s annual charity football tournament brought together colleagues, clients, and industry partners in support of Band of Builders (BoB), reinforcing a shared commitment to supporting construction workers facing some of life’s toughest challenges.
The event and the partnership build upon a year of collaboration Band of Builder’s Big Brew initiatives, which have helped raise awareness of mental health challenges across the construction industry while connecting workers with vital support and resources.
Founded on the principle of tradespeople helping tradespeople, BoB provides practical, financial, and wellbeing support to members of the construction community and their families affected by illness, injury, or other life-altering circumstances. Through volunteer-led renovation projects and direct assistance, the charity delivers meaningful help when it is needed most.
The football tournament offered an opportunity for the industry to come together in support of that mission.
And while competition remained high throughout the tournament, with exigere lifting the Champions Cup and Structure Tone UK securing the Plate Trophy, the event’s greatest achievement was the awareness and support generated for a cause that continues to make a tangible difference across the industry.
The fundraiser reflects a belief shared by both organizations: that construction is strongest when its people support one another. Whether through raising funds, volunteering time, or simply increasing awareness of the challenges facing colleagues across the sector, every contribution helps strengthen the wider construction community.
