Amy Wincko
CSO Strategy
Amy Wincko is Chief Strategy Officer for STO Building Group. Amy leads several key company operational initiatives that have elevated her role in overall strategy, including leading the company’s mergers and acquisitions (M&A) efforts and overseeing long-term strategic planning initiatives to ensure sustainable growth and competitive positioning in the industry. Additionally, she has oversight of key areas including marketing, sustainability, mass timber, building repositioning, construction procurement solutions, and strategic growth, ensuring these critical functions align with the company’s overall vision and objectives.
Before joining STOBG, Amy spent 18 years at a global construction firm, working her way up the ranks from a construction analyst to executive vice president. Throughout her career, she has specialized in managing, assessing, and improving on operational and administrative processes, including her company’s work on such high-profile projects as the Freedom Tower and 3, 4, and 7 WTC.
Amy’s recognitions include being named an ENR Top Young Professional and Top 40 Under 40 from Building+Design and Construction, receiving a Professional Achievement Award from Professional Women in Construction and Industry Veteran Award from Construction Dive, and receiving her former firm’s CEO Award. She holds a BS degree in civil engineering from the University of Virginia. She resides in Morristown, NJ with her husband and three active daughters.
