The newest addition to the STO Building Group family of companies, Abbott ConstructionGo to https://www.abbottconstruction.com/, is Salmon-Safe CertifiedGo to https://salmonsafe.org/! Salmon-Safe, a West Coast-based nonprofit organization and one of top ecolabels in the United States, is leading a movement to help Pacific salmon thrive in West Coast watersheds. Knowing responsible building practices and infrastructure development are key pieces of the puzzle, Salmon-Safe created a certification that evaluates projects in Oregon, Washington, and British Colombia.
The infrastructure certification focuses on principles of low impact development (LID) site design and reducing nonpoint source pollution in critical areas. After being assessed by a team of Salmon-Safe scientists, Abbott ConstructionGo to https://www.abbottconstruction.com/ achieved the Salmon-Safe Certification for going above and beyond environmental regulations in order to reduce the impacts of their projects on the aquatic ecosystems and surrounding natural resources.
Our NY WELL Certified Office
Our New York office has not only elevated our NY presence to match the high levels of quality and finish of our clients, but it also forged new territory for New York’s commercial real estate industry. In 2017, our office became the first project in New YorkGo to https://stobuildinggroup.com/iwbi-announces-first-well-certified-project-nyc/ to earn WELL Certification, based on the environmental and wellness-related conditions and benefits of the new space. When the certification was announced, IWBI’s chairman and CEO, Rick Fedrizzi, said Structure Tone “is a company that at its core deeply understands the connection between the health of people and the importance of designing and constructing spaces that enhance health and well-being.”
