Joe Rossi
A registered Architect with 40 years of domestic and international corporate real estate experience including design, construction, transaction and project management. Joe’s recipe for success includes teamwork and real estate business logic achieved through practical experience. He is an innovator and inventor who also led the development of a new on-demand project management methodology which was submitted for patent. While he celebrates past accomplishments, his focus remains on what can be accomplished in the future.
Joe received a Bachelor’s degree in Architecture from the University at Buffalo and a Master’s degree in Construction Management from Polytechnic University. He has previously worked for IBM’s Real Estate and Construction Division (1983-2001) and Deloitte where he was the Director of Design and Construction (2009-2012). Joe is now the Executive Director of Workplace Delivery for Verizon accountable for Space Planning, Move Management, Design & Construction, Change Management, Food Services, Corporate Services, and Hospitality nationally and a member of a world class real estate organization that focuses on service, empowers team members, endorses educated risk, and motivates others to embrace change.
Joe is a founding member of the NY Real Estate Chapter of Make-A-Wish Foundation, a founding alumni board member of the University at Buffalo School of Architecture Real Estate Development Program, and a member of CoreNet Global. In 2019 Joe was featured in a cover story in the Unrealistic Playbook issue of American Builder’s Quarterly magazine. The article was entitled “Building a Championship Squad” which outlined how he was able to assemble a team that successfully accomplishes the unrealistic year after year. He is often asked to participate in panel discussions to share his vision on workplace design, experience, and implementation strategies which he gladly does.
