John Hickey Joins Structure Tone In Boston
John Hickey, LEED® AP, has joined Structure Tone’s Boston office as vice president of sector development. A veteran in the construction industry, John brings over 25 years of experience with some of Boston’s most well-respected construction management firms.
As VP of sector development, John will help the Boston team build its work in the life sciences, higher education and healthcare sectors. His areas of expertise include programming and space planning, budgeting and estimating, cost control measures, scheduling, project planning and preconstruction, among others.
John has led the construction of dozens of buildings across the Boston area, at institutions ranging from hospitals, to R&D facilities, to colleges and universities. Most recently, John served as the interim director of construction for the Harvard Graduate School of Education in Cambridge where he oversaw the university’s ongoing projects and alignment with the campus master plan.
A Wentworth Institute of Technology alum, Hickey is an accredited LEED® AP professional, ASHE-certified construction manager, City of Boston ABC-licensed builder, Unrestricted Commonwealth of Massachusetts licensed supervisor and a licensed City of Cambridge builder. He is also OSHA 30-Hour Certified.
