School Construction News
Ajax Building Company is leading the construction of University of Florida’s Public Safety Building which will soon become a centralized location for the university’s police department. The building will feature administrative offices and community meeting rooms, a public records storage, interview spaces, locker rooms, and a vehicle port. The facility will allow for the university police to be more visible and accessible throughout the campus.
South Sound Business
Mary Bridge Children’s Hospital has officially released architectural designs for its replacement hospital, which will provide greater care and services for children and their families. Abbott and Layton Construction are working together on the $300M, 300,000sf children’s hospital with state-of-the-art designs, systems, and facilities located within MultiCare Tacoma General Hospital.
Reading Eagle
Drexel University College of Medicine and Tower Health officially opened its doors to students. LF Driscoll is credited for leading the construction of the six-story, 180,000sf building and the dedication for keeping the building schedule on track. In addition to new classrooms, the building also features five simulated patient rooms, including operating room simulations, 12 clinical exam rooms, an anatomy laboratory, and control rooms.

Structure Tone London successfully brought the taste of Italy to London with the successful construction of Eataly’s newest location. Inspired by Italy’s incredible cuisine, the marketplace’s brand-new premises in London features four restaurants, six bars, two external terraces and more.
