Layton Construction
Paul studied accounting at BYU and Cal State Northridge, where he graduated Summa Cum Laude. He attended both schools on a varsity basketball scholarship. After finishing first in his law school class at the University of Utah, Paul served as a judicial law clerk for the Honorable James K. Logan of the United States Court of Appeals for the Tenth Circuit.
Paul spent more than 20 years at the Salt Lake City law firm of Parr Brown Gee & Loveless, where he was a senior partner advising owners, subcontractors, and general contractors on a broad range of construction issues. Paul joined Layton Construction as general counsel in 2013, before transitioning to his current role as chief operating officer with responsibility for all aspects of the company’s operations nationwide. Along with David Layton, Paul also oversees all operations in the western United States for the STO Building Group.
