Ray McCoy – DBIA, CM-Lean oversees our Austin office’s strategic growth, business development, client relationships, trade partner relationships and overall operations, with a goal of helping the office continue to expand its reach in the Austin market. Ray graduated from Texas State in 1998 with a degree in Construction Management. While at Texas State, he excelled as the President of the Associated General Contractors of America (AGC) Student Chapter. Ray is currently a member of the Construction Advisory Board at Texas State and continues to serve his alma matter. Ray achieved accreditation from the Design Build Institute of America (DBIA) over 10 years ago as well as receiving a Certificate of Management-Lean Construction (CM-Lean). The AGC Certificate of Management-Lean Construction (CM-Lean) is an assessment-based certificate credential that denotes knowledge and understanding of concepts related to lean adoption, practice and process transformation outlined in AGC’s Lean Construction Education Program. Ray has been a visionary leader in the construction industry for over 25 years and has completed over $2B in projects in over 15 states and Ireland. He began as a field engineer intern on the DKR Texas Memorial Stadium – East Grandstand Renovation project and hasn’t stopped constructing award winning projects since. Ray has experienced every role in the construction industry which allows him to have perspective of all aspects in the construction process. He simply loves the Construction Industry!
Ray and his beautiful wife Jody have been married for 27 years and have two children in college. They live in Spicewood, TX and enjoy traveling and spending time with family and friends.
