The Cobbs Creek Foundation is leading the restoration of the historic Cobbs Creek Golf Course in West Philadelphia. This significant revitalization reimagines the 340-acre site as a vibrant hub for recreation, education, and community engagement.
Structure Tone provided construction management services for the New York Mets’ (NYM) corporate offices at Citi Field. The 5,500sf, known as “The Hub,” serves as a social, dining, and event space for the NYM employees.
Our organization’s presence at the Flyers Training Center in Voorhees, NJ, began in 2000 with LF Driscoll working there when the facility opened. Over a decade later, Structure Tone Philadelphia joined the team, partnering with the Flyers’ facility operations team on several phases of renovations.
The Wells Fargo Center—home to the Philadelphia 76ers, Flyers, Wings, and Soul—is a top 10 venue in the US for sports, concerts, and other attractions. And for the past several years, it’s also been a home for Structure Tone Philadelphia, who is proudly maintaining the successful relationship with owner Comcast Spectacor, begun 30 years ago by LF Driscoll.
It takes time to build a winning team. And after two years of preparation to install the new scoreboard for the Philadelphia Phillies, winning—ironically—challenged the project team to work together to overcome an especially tight deadline.
At the end of 2019, Layton broke ground on the expansion of the University of Utah’s Rice-Eccles Stadium, which included adding state-of-the-art locker rooms, two 177ft concrete towers, press boxes, and the Ken Garff Red Zone and premium suites that increased the capacity of the stadium by 5,637 seats.
Completed in 2019, the Utah Tech University Human Performance Center is an award-winning hub for students and faculty focused on fitness. It is equipped to host local, regional, and state high school games, swim meets, Huntsman World Senior Games competitions, and community-sponsored sporting events.
Wiregrass Ranch Sports Campus of Pasco County - This new facility consisted of a new 100,000 SF PEMB indoor sports arena with 230 foot clear span and 70,000 SF of wood flooring for the primary use of volleyball, basketball, dance, cheerleading, and other indoor sports.
To establish international squash court standards, the University of Pennsylvania (UPenn) determined that it would be necessary to build a brand-new facility. A major difficulty was the demolition of the existing building and completion of a new building within 15 months.
LF Driscoll managed the new construction and subsequent renovations of Citizens Bank Park, ensuring it’s legacy as top-tier destination for sports and entertainment.
