This New Public Safety Campus includes a main Administrative and Property Evidence building that is a three-story, 167,000sf structure built to 195 mph wind design criteria.
The Public Safety Complex is a multi-purpose facility developed in partnership with the City of Tallahassee and Leon County. An award-winning project (American Public Works Association and Associated Builders’ Building Contractors awards), the Leon County PSC is seen as a benchmark for how mission critical facilities can be consolidated and their functions seamlessly integrated to better serve the public.
This opportunity arose when the town of Hudson, New Hampshire needed a new fire station. The 7,800sf, brand new, design build facility would help fill a gap in one end of town and would serve as a model station for future renovations.

To meet their current and future programmatic needs, the Georgia Department of Public Safety (GDPS) needed a new Service Building. The goal was to provide one facility for all new State Troopers to visit directly after their initial training, in order to get outfitted with all of the necessary equipment to perform their jobs.
The City of Venice’s current police station was first built in 1990 and this new facility will incorporate innovations to meet the modern needs of its community. In the 26 years since the station was built, public safety has taken even more responsibility in response to an increase in active shooter scenarios.
The existing Justice Center, originally completed in 1999, consists of a five-story building interconnected with a three-story building, totaling 197,131 GSF. The purpose of the project was to meet the needs of the county in the coming years through efficient designs and construction, along with technology.
