Christopher Shaw Joins Structure Tone as LF Driscoll Healthcare Leader
Healthcare construction specialist Christopher Shaw has joined LF Driscoll Healthcare and the Structure Tone organization as Vice President, Healthcare Leader to oversee the company’s expanding work in the healthcare market.
“Healthcare is evolving rapidly and faces many challenges. A mature and accomplished organization with the enthusiasm and drive of keen management will enable us to help more healthcare institutions better serve their communities by adapting their facilities to improve health outcomes and optimize value,” says Bob Mullen, CEO of the Structure Tone organization, which includes LF Driscoll Healthcare. “With his history of managing complex healthcare projects and a 100% success record for Certificate of Need inspections in New York State over the last 15 years, Chris reflects our core values and brings tremendous vision for LF Driscoll Healthcare in New York.”
Shaw has spent the past 15 years managing New York-area healthcare construction projects, from concept and preconstruction to Department of Health inspections and close-out. His clients range from small hospitals to the region’s largest healthcare networks, such as NYU Langone Health, New York-Presbyterian, Mount Sinai Health System, Montefiore Health System and Northwell Health.
In his new role, Shaw will focus on developing LF Driscoll Healthcare’s work in the New York area, building on the reputation the company has earned in constructing more than 1,400 healthcare projects across the Mid-Atlantic.
LF Driscoll Healthcare’s experience includes planning and building world-class medical facilities such as hospitals, ambulatory care centers, cancer treatment centers, therapy and research centers, medical office buildings and patient information data centers. The company has partnered with some of the leading healthcare providers in the nation—from Penn Medicine and AtlantiCare to the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia—to deliver a better patient experience throughout the construction process. The firm provides the full range of construction services through preconstruction, lean construction, estimating, engineering and patient safety methodologies.
