Structure Tone NY Helps Host Record-Breaking Fundraiser for Saint Dominic’s Home
1,400 Leaders Attend the 35th Annual Business and Labor Awards Dinner
More than 1,400 construction, real estate and union leaders came together for the 35th Business and Labor Awards dinner at the Waldorf-Astoria to raise a record-breaking $1.3 million for Saint Dominic’s Home, a 137 year old organization providing essential educational and social services to 2,300 people in the Lower Hudson Valley and New York City.
The Friends of St. Dominic’s recognized Joseph Geiger, executive secretary of NYC & Vicinity District Council of Carpenters with the Francis J.P. McHale Memorial Award for his integrity and life-long contribution to the construction profession; and Carl Galio, Senior Principal, HOK for his considerable philanthropic work with the Victory Award.
Structure Tone’s Eugene Peter White, chaired the Dinner Committee, which is comprised of executives from leading New York construction, design, and union organizations.
Friends of Saint Dominic’s is the foundation arm of Saint Dominic’s Home, a 137-year-old nonprofit human services agency that provides 40 programs and services to more than 1,800 individuals and their families in New York City and the Lower Hudson Valley (Rockland & Orange Counties). These services include an 853 School, Universal Preschools, Mental Health programs, Community Based Services for family support, Family Foster Care, and Residential programs for adults and children with developmental disabilities.
