Code of Conduct
STO Building Group’s Code of Conduct is our blueprint for doing business the right way: clients first, integrity always. It turns our values (client-devoted, collaborative, genuine) into clear expectations for everyday decisions, with practical guidance, examples, and links to detailed policies.
The Code applies to all STOBG employees, officers, and directors, as well as third parties acting on our behalf. We also expect our vendors, subcontractors, and suppliers to uphold these standards through our Supplier Code of Conduct.
What the Code looks like in practice: It guides us to act with integrity in every setting—whether in the office, in the field, with our clients and business partners, and in the communities where we build. In the workplace, it means fostering respect and inclusion, promoting our Safety 360° culture, and speaking up when something doesn’t seem right. Within our organization, it means avoiding conflicts of interest, safeguarding confidential and personal information, keeping accurate records, and using technology responsibly. In our business dealings, it means maintaining honesty and transparency in our work, competing fairly, rejecting bribery and corruption, and choosing partners who share our values. And in the broader world, it means honoring human rights, building sustainably, giving back to our communities, and communicating openly about who we are and what we stand for.
Read the full Code to see how we build trust—on every project, every day.
