Global investment firm Cambridge Associates relocated its Boston office to the top three floors of Winthrop Center in Boston’s Financial District. Structure Tone worked with Suffolk (base building contractor), Millennium Partners (building owner), and IA (architect) to meet building standards and base building temporary certificate of occupancy (TCO) requirements, while creating a hybrid workplace that optimizes employee connection and client accommodation.

Structure Tone repositioned Equity Office Properties Trust’s first floor lobby entrance, including the staircase, as well as the common space atrium lobbies on floors 2-5, adding updated amenities to improve the building for existing tenants and help attract new ones. The team removed carpet and vinyl tiles to expose terrazzo flooring and highlight the 19th-century original brick walls.

Structure Tone Boston fit out MPM BioImpact’s office on Boylston Street, reconstructing the 11th floor with large exterior windows providing natural light and beautiful views of Boston’s Back Bay neighborhood. Our PM and superintendents worked closely with the designers and the MPM team to create a space that highlights both comfort and function, as can be seen in the selection of the architectural finishes, the furniture, and the lighting fixtures.

Guardian Life Insurance Company (GLIC) wanted a bold, dynamic work environment for the new offices of its technology department at Bell Works. They also wanted an office that reflects the historic landmark that houses their space, designed by renowned architect Eero Saarinen in 1962.
