SoFi
To support SoFi’s rapid expansion, the financial firm partnered with BCCI Construction to build out its new seven-floor headquarters in the historic Phillips Building in SoMa. The new office provides more function with well-programmed and efficient use of space, including an open work environment, an all-hands area, a café servery and catering space, a library, coffee points on every floor, and executive conference rooms. Unique elements of the project included a 9’x16’ AV screen, a two-story interior curtain wall at reception, and a new rooftop gathering area with BBQ islands and fire pits. BCCI achieved SoFi’s ultimate goal of creating an environment that created a higher level of workplace flexibility for employees and elevated collaboration.
