Edelman, London
Structure Tone was successfully appointed with delivering the 20,000sf office space for Edelman in the brand new CAT A building at Howick Place.
Having successfully delivered the initial fit-out with Edelman and the Gensler team for the Victoria Street building, there was a great deal of expectation to deliver an even better standard of work whilst also infusing some modern design characteristics that can enhance a workspace serving 180 staff members.
Challenges with the Howick Place fit-out included a fast-track programme and the preconstruction period. The Structure Tone team had to develop key aspects of the design by coordinating with the design team to ensure that the programme milestones could be met on time. The successful cohesion between the design team and Structure Tone allowed the process to run smoothly.
Works included bespoke reception seating joinery, herringbone timber flooring, triangular patterned woven vinyl flooring, exposed structural soffits and sprayed services.
Other fit-out works that simultaneously took place in the brand new building also meant the project was logistically challenging. Yet with careful planning and organisation, Structure Tone was able to coordinate with other contractors in the building and ensure that the project was delivered on time and in a safe environment.
Structure Tone continues to carry a partnership with the Edelman team for future projects.
