Shaver Hall
Structure Tone provided construction management services for Shaver Hall, a 35,000sf adaptive reuse project in the heart of Midtown Manhattan. Located within Amazon’s restored Hank Building, the project transforms an existing structure into a dynamic, hospitality‑driven food hall destination.
Leveraging experience from completing the original building renovation for Amazon, Structure Tone brought valuable insight and continuity to this next phase of development. The scope included the build‑out of more than a dozen food stalls, multiple full‑service restaurants and bars, a curated bodega, an entertainment venue, and a central performance stage.
All work was executed within an occupied, landmarked building, requiring careful coordination amid strict noise, access, and logistical constraints. The team navigated aggressive schedules, individualized delivery requirements, and the integration of complex kitchen infrastructure throughout construction.
Successful delivery was driven by close collaboration among Structure Tone, developers, operators, and design teams. Shaver Hall showcases the firm’s expertise in adaptive reuse, historic renovation and preservation, and large‑scale hospitality environments—demonstrating the balance of technical precision and creative execution required to bring modern food hall concepts to life.
