Structure Tone is a global leader in construction management and general contracting services with offices located in the US, UK, and Ireland. Founded in 1971, the company is among the world’s top twenty construction companies worldwide, responsible for more than $3.5B in annual construction volume.
In an effort to follow the private sector’s new trends for reinventing the modern workplace, the Government of Canada has also been re-envisioning how their own employees work. Across its many departments, this shift towards workplace modernization, dubbed GCworkplace, is being embarked upon in the hopes that such improvements to the workplace environment will foster greater innovation, collaboration, and productivity among employees.
Almost two decades ago, Calgary Farmers’ Market (CFM) opened its doors in a leased historic airplane hangar. In no time, Calgarians began showing up in droves to source local goods and support small businesses, which would eventually turn CFM into a local institution.
After ringing in its much anticipated grand opening in November 2019 at 55 Bloor Street in Toronto, Eataly is the largest Italian marketplace in the world. The concept is a hybrid supermarket-restaurant and is comprised of various restaurants, food vendors, and bakeries.
This project was a new corporate office build-out for a law firm relocating their offices to a new tower. The scope of work included high-end design features/finishes and millwork in the reception area and in the meeting rooms.
In 2007, the law firm of Osler Hoskin and Harcourt approached Govan Brown to build-out their space in Ottawa. The space, which comprised of 2 floors and 37,000 square feet, was located in the downtown core of the nation’s capital.
The highly focused WeirFoulds space completed in downtown Toronto’s TD Centre was a project that relied heavily on the collaboration of the Govan Brown team and all other project stakeholders.
