BCCI Construction completed the build-out for Hitachi Vantara’s new 225,000 square foot headquarters at Santa Clara Square. After having successfully completed Veritas Technologies’ headquarters at the same office park, Hitachi Vantara hired BCCI to provide general contracting services for its new Silicon Valley headquarters. A design-build approach was utilized for the mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems to expedite design. An outcome of early collaboration with all key stakeholders and consultants, critical milestones were achieved sooner than initially planned, providing the client with cost savings and enabling a seamless transition to the build phase. Construction delivery was phased with the 2nd floor moving in first, then the 3rd floor, followed by the rest of the floors. The project comprised the build-out of the main building lobby, five floors of open office space, private offices, a 10,000 square foot executive briefing center, 3rd-floor reception area with adjacent high-tech presentation space, conference rooms, multiple break rooms, and a 10,000 square foot data center.
