NewYork-Presbyterian Weill Cornell Medical Center INR Room TC-209
LF Driscoll Healthcare successfully managed the construction phases of this project, overcoming significant challenges posed by the COVID-19 pandemic and a substantial redesign.
The project involved the conversion of TC-207 from a single plane into a biplane INR room with angio CT capabilities, extending into TC-209, which is currently a shell space.
The project start was delayed to the ongoing pandemic, which factored into the redesign. As the floor below the space was being utilized as a COVID surge unit, it could not be accessed, and the team had to reroute pathways to move the GE equipment around. LF Driscoll Healthcare led the team in identifying alternate options and solutions while driving the construction forward while solutions were being discussed.
Throughout the project, LF Driscoll Healthcare’s team meticulously attended to the plan and details, maintaining open lines of communication with the project’s stakeholders, enabling the group to problem-solve for any issues that arose and successfully turn the project over.
