Interior construction on a tight schedule is what Structure Tone Southwest does best. It was no different when boot and Western goods retailer, Tecovas, Inc., selected Structure Tone to partner in their roll-out of their first DFW store.
We understand that time is money, especially in the retail industry. With a fast-approaching grand opening date, our team set out to complete this high-end space catering to the Dallas market. The existing retail facility needed significant upgrades to achieve this. Part of the scope included salvaging the existing wood flooring, installation of a ramp using hot rolled metal to accommodate ADA requirements, installation of a new glass storefront along with extensive custom millwork, adjustable rack shelving, and restroom upgrades. In addition to the retail space, the new store included fitting rooms, a management office, and back-of-house storage.
As we pushed hard toward the grand opening, we were met with a few challenges to overcome. One of these challenges included coordinating with vendors and installation teams for the glass storefront and custom wood entry door. Both the owner and architect were located in Austin, therefore, our team carefully coordinated and kept the team informed continuously with progress photos.
In the end, our team was able to have the new retailer up and running for their debut into the DFW market earlier than the original schedule.
