Structure Tone is a global leader in construction management and general contracting services with offices located in the US, UK, and Ireland. Founded in 1971, the company is among the world’s top twenty construction companies worldwide, responsible for more than $3.5B in annual construction volume.
This project encompasses the comprehensive transformation of Building 10 at The Campus in Cherrywood. The objective was to create state-of-the-art life science laboratories, modern offices, meeting spaces, event facilities, a canteen, equipment rooms, and all associated infrastructure.
Spark's mission is to better understand the human genome and use genes to treat genetic diseases. This high-end research requires state-of-the-art laboratories.
As part of the next phase of the Philadelphia Navy Yard’s master plan, Ensemble and Mosaic developed an advanced life sciences building – a 137,000sf building at 1201 Normandy Place. The new building was built as a speculative lab building and has the ability to be fit out to accommodate any proposed lab/office needs.
Structure Tone was selected as the construction manager by a Japanese specialty pharmaceutical client Kyowa Kirin, Inc. This new facility will host employees from Bedminster and Princeton, creating a centrally located New Jersey headquarters.

Structure Tone Philadelphia renovated Imvax’s office, transforming a century-old publishing building into one that can support cutting-edge science. The renovation consisted of laboratories, research facilities, and a clean room, plus an overhaul of the building’s infrastructure systems.
