NEW YORK, NY (January 16, 2024) – The STO Building Group family of construction companies today named Michael Trovini as the first President of the organization, a new role in the growing company’s organizational structure.
“We have evolved significantly in the last few years, and we needed a president role to align our leadership team accordingly,” says Bob Mullen, STO Building Group CEO. “As President of STOBG, Michael joins me and our extended team of leaders across our family of builders to develop, guide, and support the strategic vision of the entire organization and, in turn, the value that holds for our employees and our clients.”
Trovini has spent the majority of his career as a senior leader in large organizations, including his most recent role as a founding member and President of Related Construction Holdings, which was created to lead the construction needs of The Related Companies. He also spent roughly a decade working in corporate real estate investment and development roles for Goldman Sachs and the Archon Group. Through these positions, he developed a particular expertise in action plans for distressed properties, including such high-profile projects as the redevelopment of Hudson Yards in Manhattan. As President, Trovini will focus on developing strategies for growth while overseeing the efforts of STOBG’s corporate services teams to help ensure they support organizational goals, the needs of STOBG’s operating companies, and employees’ and clients’ success.

Allan’s background includes the development and implementation of property, casualty, and management liability insurance programs as well as expertise in risk allocation, contractual risk transfer, complex claim and litigation management, and catastrophic loss recovery.
“The addition of Mike and Scott to our team marks a major milestone in the evolution of our organization,” says Jim Donaghy, STOBG Executive Chairman. “As President of STOBG, Mike will help us continue to efficiently move our larger organization forward while allowing our operating companies to leverage our platform to best serve our clients.”
