The Foundry
Located on the 20th floor of the Hartford Steam Boiler Inspection and Insurance Company (HSB) building, The Foundry is a stunning bar/restaurant that offers amazing ambiance, exceptional service, and stunning views of downtown Hartford. Pavarini North East teamed with Avison Young and JtA to transform this space into an exquisitely designed and constructed eatery. Having previously worked on the multiple floors of HSB (https://stobuildinggroup.com/projects/hartford-steam-boiler/Go to https://stobuildinggroup.com/projects/hartford-steam-boiler/), our team was perfectly positioned to bring The Foundry to life.
Our team’s scope included construction of restaurant dining and bar areas, restrooms, full cooking kitchens, reception/host stand, and additional back of house support. The bar is large, highlighted by intricate ceiling detail and design. There are several dining options, with fun nooks and seating arrangements for large groups or intimate meetings. The kitchen is open, so patrons can watch the chef team in action; in fact, the huge double oven and cooking set up is the focal point of the restaurant, creating a lively atmosphere for diners and guests.
