Most building repositioning projects involving gutting an older building and starting fresh with modern infrastructure and interiors. But at Hudson Commons, Cove Property Group thought—quite literally—outside of the box.
640 Fifth Avenue
Renovating an occupied, historic building in the heart of Midtown Manhattan is tough. And the project at 640 Fifth Avenue was no exception, requiring a unique combination of construction management and logistics to redevelop the 267,000sf, 18-story office building, as well as add three stories on top.
Barbizon
Built in 1927 as a residential hotel for women, the Barbizon was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1982. After acquiring the property in 2002, Berwind Property Group determined to convert it to luxury condos in 2004, bringing in Cetra/Ruddy as designers and Pavarini McGovern as builders.

The Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia
LF Driscoll managed a multi-phased, seven-year expansion to double the size of the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia’s main facility while also modernizing each department.
The scope and program for this project was to construct a new approximately 50,000sf, 9-story high-end luxury residential building that has 14 condominium apartments and a duplex Penthouse apartment. 27 Wooster Street is located at the southwest corner of Wooster and Grand Streets in the heart of the SoHo neighborhood of Manhattan.
When the owners of 280 Park Avenue realized the time had come for an upgrade, they called in the Pavarini McGovern team to help reposition the 1.2 million sf building, including renovating the exterior and interior of the building’s east and west towers
Dedicated to the redevelopment of Newark, NJ, Prudential broke ground on its new facility for 3,000 employees in May 2013 and opened the doors to the 20-story tower in August 2015.
