O'Melveny & Myers LLP
To support O’Melveny’s expansion in the Dallas market at its new office location, Structure Tone Southwest was selected to execute comprehensive first-generation interior finish-out services across three floors in a newly constructed 27-story office tower in the city’s vibrant Harwood District. The team successfully completed the finish-out of the new law office, covering approximately 67,000sf on floors 15 through 17.
The project included a range of sophisticated features, such as a monumental stair connecting floors 15 to 17, the integration of modern fold and skyfold partitions in multi-purpose rooms, and a custom wood veneer desk with radiused fins. The office space was designed with high-quality finishes, including fabric wall panels, wood and fabric ceilings, modern fold and skyfold partitions, terrazzo flooring, felt ceilings, stone flooring, and broadloom carpet.
A notable challenge was completing the stair on the upper floors to a degree that allowed for the construction of a scaffold over it. This scaffold was essential for installing a light fixture and stretched fabric ceiling, which required custom-coordinated holes for the pendant fixtures and heating the fabric to 130 degrees for a precise fitting. The successful resolution of this challenge was due to the team’s extensive experience and effective collaboration with subcontractors.
Our relationship with O’Melveny & Myers, which started with a high-profile project in New York back in 2017, continues to grow, reflecting our shared commitment to excellence and innovative solutions.
