Vitol Inc.
Structure Tone Southwest was the general contractor for the Houston office relocation of Vitol, one of the world’s largest independent energy trading companies. The 60,000sf space is located on two floors of the new Kirby Grove Building at Levy Park. The project was in progress simultaneously while the building was being developed.
The project upgrades included a raised floor with under-floor air throughout the 10th floor including the building core. On the 10th floor, we installed an exercise room, locker rooms, mail room, full service kitchen, dining areas, a data center with heavy IT components, increased restroom capacity, and a large trading area featuring a double height ceiling.
The 11th floor construction consisted of traditional HVAC with no raised floor. The elevator lobby and reception area finishes matched the typical Vitol palette with a custom feature staircase, and multiple lounge areas. Multiple refreshment areas, conference rooms, and private offices with full glass fronts that are walls to deck and insulation were also included.
