GroundTruth
Structure Tone provided construction management services for the tenant fit-out for GroundTruth (formerly xAd) on the 60th floor of One World Trade Center. The scope of work included the development and construction of elevator lobbies, common corridors and demising walls, HVAC and sprinkler loops, pre-built suite fit-outs and other office spaces.
The design intent was to create a vibrant, unique interior space to stimulate the creativity of their designers and engineers; therefore, we applied colorful prints and high-end finishes to their walls and furniture. One of the most impressive aspects of the space is the main café, elements of which include a custom-built couch and bar top, high-end millwork and a BASWAphon ceiling.
Technology and A/V equipment is showcased prominently throughout the floor. A media wall made up of nine recessed TV screens is displayed in the lobby. TV screens and light-up dry-erase boards are spread throughout the office, as well as every conference and meeting room. In the Location Lab, the company’s “think tank” idea space, there is a large touch screen TV conference table and additional dry-erase boards
