This fit-out was completed on budget and within the initial programme that was agreed upon with Indeed and their design team. During the tendering process, Structure Tone offered some value engineering options as part of our tender documentation, and on appointment, we worked with Indeed and their design team to investigate these VE options further without compromising the quality, the aesthetic or the programme that Structure Tone had committed to.
The removal, installation and linking of the new Comms Room was particularly important on this project to allow Indeed to complete the installation of their IT components before PC. This allowed all parties to test/commission and sign off on the install without compromising the programme end date.
The works included:
- New canteen
- New data install to comms room
- Removal of existing comms room
- A/V install
- Furniture install
- Reworking of existing glazed partitions to suit new layout
- Access control
- Linking access control and new comms to existing on the first floor
- New blinds
- Paint throughout
- New room signage
- Floor box relocation
- Furniture relocations on first floor
- Joinery coat closets
- Cost savings and value engineering
