Welsh Carson Anderson and Stowe (WCAS)
Structure Tone provided construction services for the firm’s office relocation from 320 Park Avenue to 599 Lexington Avenue. Due to our firm’s extensive building experience and excellent relationships with the building management, our team initiated construction activities without any learning curve. The scope of work included open workstations, private offices, storage/copy rooms, conference rooms, pantry and coffee bars and the new custom interconnecting stair.
WCAS’ office spans the entire 18th floor and partial 17th floor with a new interconnecting stair. Since the 17th floor is a shared floor and remained occupied during construction, we worked diligently to mitigate dust, noise or interruptions to daily operations. Both floors required early delivery room ready dates for IT, A/V and FF&E, even with the delayed start on the 17th floor. Utilizing the preconstruction phase, our team identified all rooms/areas requiring early delivery and incorporated these dates on a critical path schedule. Through this early coordination and strategy, our team completed both floors within the projected schedule.
