AllianceBernstein
Structure Tone delivered the relocation and fit-out of AllianceBernstein’s New York headquarters, spanning 165,000sf across four floors of a state-of‑the‑art Hudson Yards high‑rise. The program included three full floors and one partial floor, designed to support the client’s operational goals and create a best‑in‑class workplace experience.
The new HQ features a modern conference center capable of hosting large‑scale meetings and events, a flexible multi‑purpose room, full catering kitchens, and supplemental restroom facilities to ensure functionality and comfort for staff and guests. To promote connectivity and collaboration, Structure Tone built an interconnecting feature staircase between floors, improving circulation and visual continuity throughout the space.
Delivering this project on an ambitious timeline required extensive coordination among architectural, engineering, and specialty trades, as well as with the building’s core and shell team. Our team oversaw procurement, phased installation, and rigorous schedule management to align finishes, systems, and furniture installation across multiple levels—creating a cohesive, high‑performance environment from day one.
Drawing inspiration from Hudson Yards and the High Line, the space is designed for flexibility, connection, and growth. Gensler’s open layout fosters collaboration and innovation, while the “Dreamwall”—a striking AI‑powered installation spanning a city block—underscores the client’s commitment to technology and creativity.
This relocation reestablishes the firm’s connection with New York while signaling a shift toward a wellness‑focused, AI‑enabled innovation hub. By creating an adaptable environment that blends culture, creativity, and cutting‑edge technology, this office positions the client for long‑term success and delivers an unforgettable experience for employees and visitors alike.
Additionally, Structure Tone delivered a new media studio at 475 Tenth Avenue and an off‑site mailroom at 601 West 26th Street—all while the headquarters fit‑out was underway—demonstrating the team’s ability to manage multiple, highly technical projects in parallel without compromising quality or schedule. Our deep familiarity with the building, gained through previous engagements with the anchor tenant and other clients, further strengthened our ability to deliver a seamless and highly coordinated project.
