Cherrywood Labs
This project encompasses the comprehensive transformation of Building 10 at The Campus in Cherrywood. The objective is to create state-of-the-art life science laboratories, modern offices, meeting spaces, event facilities, a canteen, equipment rooms, and all associated infrastructure. The scope of work includes:
- Construction of life science laboratories, comprising 6 main labs and 11 starter labs, along with 15 separate offices, a kitchen, canteen, function room, and goods storage areas. This involves the installation of new partition walls, ceilings, glazed screens, floor finishes, doors, frames, architraves, skirtings, acoustic and fire barriers, and furniture setup.
- Installation of flue stacks and associated cladding, including all necessary components, flashings, fixings, and structural elements.
- Adjustment of curtain walling and window systems, including the creation of new upstands and blockwork as needed.
Mechanical works encompass:
- Installation of new internal ducting.
- Installation of fan coil units, air handling units, ventilation systems, and fume extractors.
- Associated enhancements to the flue exhaust system.
- Installation of plumbing, waste, and gas services.
Electrical works include:
- Installation of new electrical fittings for power and data.
- Installation of light fittings as required to match the new floor layout.
- Installation of smoke detectors and fire alarm panels.
- Installation of data and electrical trunking for workstations.
- Provision of a new power supply to accommodate the new workstation layouts.
- Installation of WIFI points, AV systems, and security infrastructure to ensure a fully functional and secure workspace.
