Structure Tone New Jersey fit out the mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection engineering basis of design for Fiserv’s location in Berkeley Heights, NJ. The four-story building encompasses 428,000sf of space with social work zones, culinary programming, and wellness opportunities for associates. The space is modern with aesthetically pleasing features, like the spiral staircases that rise through the center of each story of the building.
Sustainability, innovation, and technology influenced the project, creating benefits for Fiserv, the company’s working environment, and the community. Fiserv is making a great impact in its commitment to increasing employment, recruiting over 1,000 people from across the country, adding to their 1,500-employee base. With their state-of-the-art campus as a major draw, Fiserv aims to utilize the diverse talent from New Jersey to elevate prominence of the payments and fintech industry. Additionally, Fiserv plans to use its decades-long presence in New Jersey to further state education. Partnering with Rutgers University and other local colleges, high schools, and organizations provide new programs and opportunities for students and recent graduates. The company is also committed to fostering diversity and inclusion in the workplace, including a $50M commitment to its Back2Business program to recognize the resiliency and needs of minority-owned small businesses during challenging times.
Fiserv’s New Jersey HQ was named an Office Deal of the Year finalist by NAIOP NJ and just recently, won a United Way of Northern New Jersey 2023 Impact Award, an award that honors commercial real estate projects with the greatest positive impact to the community.
