Flyers Training Center
Our organization’s presence at the Flyers Training Center in Voorhees, NJ, began in 2000 with LF Driscoll working there when the facility opened. Over a decade later, Structure Tone Philadelphia joined the team, partnering with the Flyers’ facility operations team on several phases of renovations. In May 2024, the facility was awarded retail improvements and repairs. Rink two underwent a complete overhaul, receiving a new ice floor, piping and glass, LED scoreboard, sound system, and theatrical lighting. Construction took 16 weeks.
Below is a detailed timeline of previous renovation events:
2013
- Built a new dining room/player lounge with a full-service kitchen.
- Added a team-dedicated video room.
- Expanded the coaching compound for larger coaching staff.
- Installed new locker room, player changing room, medical room, and hydrotherapy space.
2016-17
- Expanded the footprint into private parking spaces to encompass a Player Performance Center in the gym.
- Redeveloped locker room, change room, equipment room, medical room, and dining space on player development side.
2017
- Repurposed former gym space on 2nd floor to develop hockey operations office space and conference room to better equip the growth in staff members.
2023
- Remodeled the Performance Center for year-round training.
- Added a medical room and performance staff office space as part of the Player Performance Center, making it more efficient for training and maintaining physical health.
- Removed passing room that enhanced the flow of equipment to provide a room of 8,000sf training space, including a player lounge/recovery area.
2024
- Remodeled and enhanced player changing/shower/bathroom/grooming area.
- Incorporated new hydrotherapy room and sauna.
- Expanded kitchen and food refrigeration spaces with remodeled dining area.
- Installed new video board in the team video room and upgraded cable TV distribution throughout the facility.
- Repurposed former medical room as triage space for Flyers practice rink.
