Fox Rothschild LLP PA
The national law firm of Fox Rothschild LLP relied on Structure Tone for the interior fit-out and renovation of the firm’s offices in Philadelphia, PA. The project comprised a total of 100,000sf covering four floors: the 12th, 19th, 20th and 21st. Structure Tone managed the project in two phases so that the firm’s business would not be interrupted during construction.
Phase I encompassed the fit-out of floors 19, 20 and 21, and the build-out of the 12th floor server room. At the conclusion of this phase, 12th-floor workers were moved to the completed floors and the phase-two fit-out of the remainder of the 12th floor began. Fox Rothschild maintained its day-to-day operations without any impediments throughout both construction phases.
Project highlights included a new convenience staircase between the 19th and 21st floors made from Italian travertine stone, and high-end wood finishes in many of the conference rooms. The long lead time for delivery of the travertine stone directly from Italy required our team to procure it during preconstruction to ensure an on-schedule delivery.
Construction of the steel supports for both the staircase and a high-density file room required access to areas above ceilings on floors not associated with the project. We scheduled the steel installation during off-hours to avoid disrupting tenants in these spaces.
