This project was a new corporate office build-out for a law firm relocating their offices to a new tower. The scope of work included high-end design features/finishes and millwork in the reception area and in the meeting rooms.
Careful attention to sound isolation for all offices and meeting rooms was important. The project had to be completed on a tight schedule and required open and responsive communication between the owner, designer, and contractor to ensure there were no delays during construction. Overall, this project progressed very smoothly with only a single change order in the entire project, this was in part due to our vast experience working at the building and the relationships with the management company and building staff, including familiarity with the building rules and regulations. The greatest challenge came from ensuring that we were working within a constrained budget and producing the best value possible for the client. We accomplished this by working with both the client and the design firm to find cost-saving solutions that met the design intent while also pushing the schedule.
