UGG
Structure Tone provided construction services for UGG’s offices and showroom on the 20th floor at 1325 Avenue of the Americas. The build-out included a reception area, showrooms with the ability for multiple configurations, open workspace, private offices, a 12-person conference room and a pantry area. Structure Tone worked closely with HLW International, the architect, and Checkland Kindleysides, the designer, to help create this one-of-a-kind office and showroom space in the heart of Manhattan.
The sleek and cozy design reflects UGG’s brand and lifestyle. Timber wood panels and white subway tiles line the walls of the reception area. UGG’s “sunflake” pattern and other branding accent the space, imprinted on doors, handles and walls. A video wall and a back-lit wall display also greet guests in the reception. Hallway graphics highlight the countries and dates that UGG was introduced.
The apartment-style open plan offers natural light office to the space’s showrooms, including men’s, women’s and children’s shoes and an apparel/home lifestyle collection. The showrooms are adaptable and can be reset for different needs, with the largest room accommodating 40+ people for PR events and corporate meetings. Attached to these areas is a workspace with a creative studio.
Tile flooring, subway tiled walls, wood-slat open ceilings, natural color carpet, metal and wood product displays and glass and wood walls make up the space’s finishes. Additional highlights include a movable wood partition and barn door, as well as a “live” product display room with growing plants and products to emulate the outdoors. Support spaces include a sorting/storage area for deliveries and a gift wrapping area.
