WeWork Ireland
WeWork acquired five floors of the Iveagh Court Building in Harcourt Road to establish the first of their Dublin serviced offices.
The brief was to deliver a dynamic space to meet the needs of the varied clients whom WeWork typically attract.
The space was divided into areas for hot desking, open plan offices, private offices, and meeting rooms offering video conferencing capabilities. In addition to the work spaces, there were also community spaces, micro kitchens, and the “Speakeasy Lounge” which provides full bar facilities. Each of the floors also incorporates a staffed barista bar.
Sections of the existing floor slab were removed to accommodate the installation of a circular staircase linking the works spaces with the large relaxation areas on the lower ground floor.
The mechanical and electrical installations included fitting a new air conditioning system throughout along with the provision of task and mood lighting. Data installation was key to the successful handover with comms rooms being constructed on each floor.
Structure Tone were also engaged to carry out customization works for particular clients which involved partition upgrades and reconfiguration of the floor layouts. These customization works were an addition to the original contract, further enhancing Structure Tones ethos of relationship building and repeat business.
