Dedicated to the redevelopment of Newark, NJ, Prudential broke ground on its new facility for 3,000 employees in May 2013 and opened the doors to the 20-story tower in August 2015.
Structure Tone was the construction manager of the interior fit-out of the 733,000sf, Class A tower and had the building ready for occupancy in just 14 months. The building features a spectacular 19-story atrium, open-plan workspaces, trading floor, state-of-the-art video conferencing capabilities, cafeteria, LEDA media wall, two living green walls and many employee wellness amenities, including a Zen garden, 3,700sf gym, 50,000sf rooftop terrace with outdoor seating and walking trails and electric car charging stations.
The tower is pursuing LEED® Gold certification with a sophisticated all-LED lighting system and use of sustainable materials, built-in water conservation system and HVAC system that reduces energy consumption and for flexibility in the office configuration.
