Schroders
Our general construction team built a workplace for global asset management firm Schroders that focuses on interaction and collaboration, achieving a sophisticated and timeless design within the six-floor space. Based on our excellent performance and delivery of the base project, we were awarded the fit-out of an additional 15,000sf.
To create the high-end, modern space, our project team meticulously leveled each floor prior to construction. Because of our previous experience in the building – and since the floors were unoccupied – we were able to initiate construction activities immediately after leveling.
A massive internal stair serves as a focal piece for Schroders’ headquarters with structural glass risers, terrazzo steps, and a custom feature wall in the stairwell with custom millwork panels and backlit lighting. Our project team worked closely with the lighting designer to ensure all electrical work and installation was completed properly. We also incorporated various time-saving solutions, such as temporary handrails, so that the stair would be usable by the move-in date.
