GOODWIN PROCTER
7th Floor Partial Renovation and 8th Floor Full Renovation
Goodwin Procter LLP established their new home at 3025 JFK Boulevard in Schuylkill Yards, a neighborhood in the heart of Philadelphia’s University City. Structure Tone partnered with the design team from NELSON Worldwide to help Goodwin redefine their “law firm of the future” mentality through a state-of-the-art workplace that combines creativity and adaptability with a welcoming atmosphere and commitment to their clients.
Construction consisted of a high-end reception area with custom millwork and marble flooring, a boardroom equipped with advanced A/V systems, conference areas featuring modular furniture, attorney and legal staff offices with glass fronts, and support spaces designed for efficiency and collaboration. The conference center contains a full-service kitchen with commercial-grade appliances, while visitor offices provide secure spaces to work. Our team relocated the café to a centralized space, with flexible open-plan seating and acoustic panels reduce noise levels. An amenities area featuring a ping-pong table, a specialty café, private booths, and a TV for streaming major events gives this law firm a contemporary feel.
The construction and design of this office – integrating modern elements into the feeling of a traditional law firm – prioritizes collaboration and utilizes sustainable materials and energy-efficient systems to improve employee and guest experiences.
