Gather Food Hall
Gather Food Hall brings a vibrant new dining destination to Schuylkill Yards, transforming the ground floor of the historic Bulletin Building into a 13,000sf culinary hub featuring six local vendors and the Bulletin Bar. As construction manager, Structure Tone partnered with Brandywine Realty Trust and Hospitality HQ to reimagine the landmark space, overseeing all construction, coordination, and delivery. The result is a modern, welcoming food hall that honors the building’s legacy while enhancing the neighborhood with diverse flavors and a strong sense of community.
Preserving History, Reimagined
Originally built in 1955, the Bulletin Building once housed The Philadelphia Bulletin, a major newspaper that symbolized innovation and communication. Structure Tone’s work preserves this heritage while adapting the space into a contemporary hub for dining and social interaction. The Bulletin Bar serves as a tribute to the building’s newsroom history, integrating original architectural character with modern design elements to create a signature gathering space.
Technical Execution
Delivering a multi-vendor food hall required meticulous coordination of complex mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems. Each system was tailored to the needs of individual kitchens while maintaining high standards for performance, safety, and efficiency.
Designed for Community
The project supports the broader vision of Schuylkill Yards as a mixed-use destination for tenants, students, residents, and visitors. The warm, energetic environment encourages collaboration, connection, and shared experiences.
Project Impact
Gather Food Hall enhances Schuylkill Yards’ growing roster of retail and dining options, strengthening the neighborhood’s identity as an active, experience-rich destination. The space reflects Structure Tone’s commitment to delivering projects that elevate communities and transform how people engage with the built environment.
