Allergan Headquarters
Allergan partnered with Structure Tone New Jersey to create a brand-new administrative headquarters based in Madison, New Jersey. The 400,000sf space consolidated the company’s four separate New Jersey offices located in Parsippany, Jersey City, Rockaway, and Bridgewater.
Featuring an open design and plenty of social spaces, Allergan’s new office space focused on offering opportunities for collaboration among the company’s employees. Amenities and features include:
- Main lobby/reception
- Full Service Cafeteria and Dining
- Health and Fitness center
- Meeting rooms, training rooms, and video conference rooms
- Project rooms for consultants (10-15 person capacity)
- Main computer room and data center
- New generator and BMS
- Security room
- Company store
- File rooms
- Nurse practitioner’s room
During the preconstruction phase, Structure Tone collaborated with the Allergan and Design team on value engineering, developed a project phasing strategy, and created a master project schedule. Further, we also conducted a constructability assessment and determined site logistics. Frequent meetings with both the client and selected subcontractors identified any possible issues or steps that need to be considered. In the construction phase, to meet the aggressive schedule demands, the team worked to facilitate expedited submittal reviews of all critical components. Leveraging the buildings unique repetitive pod/wing layout, the team developed a modular shop drawing approval method for all MEP trades in order to accelerate fabrication schedules to maintain installation progress. This LEED certified headquarters was completed on time and under budget.
