Broadridge Financial
When fintech company Broadridge Financial Solutions decided to move to a bigger, better office up the block in Midtown South, the company knew it wanted an airy, open layout with colors that reflected its brand. Our team managed the construction of this relocation to floors 39-42 at 605 Third Avenue, a workspace totaling approximately 80,000sf. The financial firm’s new office is modern and clean, with open space for collaboration and smaller offices for privacy.
We worked with TPG Architecture to build Broadridge an office that communicates the firm’s values of transparency, technology, and collaboration from the minute employees and visitors walk through the door. Upon entry, a monumental video wall greets guests and leads them into the reception. The open plan, accommodating over 400 workstations and multiple interior offices, allows natural light to flood the space while showcasing the best views of the city. An interconnecting stair made of blue glass acts as an architectural focal point for the floors. Conference rooms and common spaces feature walls and furniture in the company’s signature royal blue color, which appears in its logo. We positioned movable walls in the large conference rooms, so they can be divided up for smaller meetings and kept open for Town Halls or other all-hands gatherings.
Sustainability is also important to Broadridge and we incorporated environmentally friendly elements into the construction. Wood-like paneling in the elevator lobby and reception area is in fact a silk screen applied to sheetrock, saving both money and trees. Similarly, we installed a white porcelain flooring that is meant to mimic calacatta marble.
