PAM Health Rehabilitation Hospital South Point, OH
Following the successful delivery of the PAM Health Rehabilitation Hospital Sussex Campus in Delaware, LF Driscoll is once again partnering with Warfel Construction—this time to deliver a new 42-bed inpatient rehabilitation hospital in South Point, Ohio for Catalyst Healthcare Real Estate. Operated by PAM Health, the 56,000 sf facility will include a pharmacy, radiology, dialysis, therapy spaces, and support areas to aid recovery from acute illness and injury.
During preconstruction, the LF Driscoll/Warfel joint venture collaborated on budgeting, scheduling, and site logistics. Early construction faced challenges from heavy rain and poor soil conditions, prompting a proactive remediation plan with Catalyst that included importing select fill and rescheduling non-critical site work for drier months.
Leveraging lessons from the Sussex Campus project, the team fast-tracked procurement of long-lead items and integrated owner-supplied vendors into BIM coordination—minimizing installation conflicts and keeping the project on schedule.
Strategically located off Highway 52, this will be Catalyst’s ninth PAM Health facility and the only inpatient rehab hospital within a 50-mile radius, enhancing access to post-acute care in southern Ohio.
